Our Executive Chef
The Park Town Hotel is proud to present the culinary talents of our Executive Chef, Julian Bray. He has had a very distinguished career and we are pleased that he shares his expertise here at the Park Town Hotel. Julian’s history reads like a motivational seminar.
First trained as an apprentice in Germany at Frankfurt’s Hotel Meyer.
Owned his own business, Julian’s Wine and Grill, also in Frankfurt.
Julian’s overseas career spanned Western Europe and Middle East.
On moving to Canada in 1982 he further trained at BCIT and worked at the Invermere Inn and Radium Hot Springs.
Julian came to Saskatoon in 1989 and worked with International Hotel chains before joining the Park Town Hotel in 1997 and has served as Executive Chef since then. He has won numerous Inter-Provincial Culinary Medals in Alberta and Saskatchewan and stays involved with fund-raising charities such as Breast Cancer, Zoogala, Ronald MacDonald House, Camp Easter Seal and other local events.
Julian and his professional team strive for excellence and guest satisfaction by demonstrating quality, freshness, value and presentation. New ideas are the key to his success, combining those with tried and true favorites to keep the dining experience at the Park Town something to return to time to time again.
